Newsletter: Happy Spring!

Happy Spring everyone!

What a "springing" forth of changes it has brought for me! I have been inspired to make some tough choices to start clearing away that which keeps me in my same patterns. These changes have brought with them many blessings of which I am happy to share with you!

New Class at Yoga Pearl

Starting Tuesday, April 8th I will be teaching a 9:00 AM Hatha Yoga class. I am so thrilled to be on the permanent schedule at Yoga Pearl! I have been attending yoga at Yoga Pearl since I moved to Portland and this has always been a special place to me since many of the teachers I love to study with are here! This class will be a slower paced, alignment focused, mindful practice. Beginners will be comfortable and all levels will be challenged and inspired to explore how you can use the postures and your intention to heal and restore your body! I sub a great deal at Yoga Pearl so check their weekly schedule or my website for any additional classes.

New Class at Root

Starting Monday, April 14th I will be teaching the Monday and Friday 12-1:15p Vinyasa class. I am so proud to be a part of the Root community. This is such a peaceful and healing wellness center that I am lucky to be able to share my yoga here. I previously announced teaching a Tuesday and Thursday evening vinyasa class but this change is for the better! Please come visit me here and enjoy all Root has to offer.

Goodbye 24 Hour Fitness, Thank You

April 7th marked my last class at 24 Hour Fitness. What a ride with 24 Hour it has been! From teaching classes to managing the Pearl location it has been a time of great connections with members and fun classes to teach and many lessons on what I truly wanted to do! So to all those that helped me in this journey, my deep gratitude. I hope that those of you at 24 Hour will come visit me at any of my current homes and say hello.

June Workshop

Please save the date of Sunday, June 29th for my next workshop at Yoyo Yogi, "Unlocking Your Potential, An exploration of the psoas, the muscle of the soul". The psoas (SO-as) influences every aspect of our health and integrates body, mind, emotion and spirit. It has found to be key in releasing pain in the hips, knees, low back, feet, and jaw.... Tight, exhausted or "sleepy" psoas muscles can also be linked to digestive issues and headaches as well as unreleased emotions of fear and anger. In this powerful workshop you will learn ways to connect to this muscle and how to freely move from your center with a sense of flexibility, suppleness, strength and stability. More information on my website and you can register online or by calling Yoyo Yogi.

June Retreat

My retreat in June is open for one single room only so please message me soon if you are interested. There are no yoga only spots available. This will be such a fun, healing time. I am working on a fall retreat too!

Aromatherapy Sprays

Starting in April, Yoyo Yogi will be carrying some my aromatherapy sprays! Many thanks to Alex and Terri for their support of my new venture. Of course you can always purchase custom blends through me but at least now you can drop by and pick up some "scentual" love when you need it!

Private Sessions

I am available for private and yoga and pilates based movement sessions in my office space as well an intuitive energy sessions. Many people ask me what this type of work entails, so check out my website for more information or message me and we can discuss how my work may assist you in your growth and transformation this spring.

Love and Light,
Jill
