Eclipse Season Practice for Anxiety and Fear

This is a practice that can be used anytime you experience fear or anxiety. I find practices like this really helpful during eclipse times because the collective energy can feel shifty and unsettled which can affect our nervous systems. This practice can be done for 5 breaths or 5 minutes..truly any amount of time is helpful! I suggest using an essential oil for this practice. I like the "tree" oils because they feel especially grounding. I am using Black Spruce but you can use Fir, Cedarwood, or any oil of choice or no oil at all. Drop a few drops of oil into your palms and rub them together and take in the scent. Then cradle one hand right above your pubic bone and one hand on the low back. I imagine my spine merging with the trunk of a tree so I can feel into the steadiness and stability of a tree. I then call my energy back home and presence in my breathing and touch.
